By purchasing from Petrichor Candle Studio, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Products All Petrichor candles, refills, wax melts, and gift sets are handmade in small batches in Lewisville, Texas. Each piece is unique. Variations in color, texture, vessel finish, and scent intensity are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered defects. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
2. Candle Safety You assume full responsibility for the safe use of all Petrichor products. By purchasing, you agree to follow all candle safety guidelines, including but not limited to:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
- Keep wick trimmed to ¼ inch before each burn
- Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains
Petrichor Candle Studio is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use of our products.
3. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petrichor Candle Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of revenue. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product in question.
4. Sales & Returns All sales on signature candles and Sanctuary subscription boxes are final. Refills and gift sets may be returned unopened within 14 days for store credit only. Full details are outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
5. Subscription Terms The Sanctuary subscription is a monthly recurring membership. By subscribing, you authorize Petrichor Candle Studio to charge your payment method on a monthly basis. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date. Once a box has entered production, no refund or cancellation is available for that month.
6. Shipping & Delivery Petrichor Candle Studio ships free within the United States. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by the carrier once the package has been handed off for shipment. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will work with you to find a resolution.
7. Intellectual Property All content on this website — including product names, descriptions, photography, and brand identity — is the property of Petrichor Candle Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
8. Changes to These Terms We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
